If you are interested in joining we can take a few more members - but get in touch quickly, we have a membership limit so that we don't disappoint members wanting to attend lunches at venues with finite capacity.

Burgess Hill and District Probus Club
Serving Burgess Hill, Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks

The Burgess Hill and District Probus Club welcomes both retired men and women. It was formed nearly 40 years ago for the benefit and shared pleasure of local retired people.

After a lifetime of working, usually in a professional or business position, members enjoy meeting others in the local area with a similar background and who also have some time on their hands.

We meet for a lunch on the first Thursday of each month at venues a few miles from Burgess Hill. We enjoy an excellent two course meal while chatting with fellow members and guests and then look forward to hearing from a good speaker on a topic of general interest.

Occasionally some members venture out on enjoyable trips to a variety of attractions - sometimes friends and partners join in.

Unlike other luncheon societies, Probus is not a charity fund-raising club, although modest sums are sometimes raised. And we try to keep all costs down to an affordable level. To sum up - we maintain an interest in the world around us, show concern for each other, share common interests and, most of all, have a good time.

Check out our next meeting.
